The Cat In The Hat Comes Back is a kids’ book by Dr. Seuss. Summary of the Book When Sally and her brother are left home alone once again, they’re given clear instructions that they are to shovel the snow before their mother gets back. However, the Cat in the Hat returns to put a wrench in their plans. The children try to ignore him, but really, who can ignore the mischievous Cat in the Hat? When the kids insist that the Cat leave, he offers to help them with their chores, calling on the Little Cats A through Z to help them shovel the snow and clean the house. However, these cats might be more trouble than they’re worth! Can Sally and her brother finish up their chores on time? Or will the Cat in the Hat cause more trouble?
