The Clicking of Cuthbert is a collection of comic golf stories by P. G. Wodehouse. Like the Ancient Mariner out of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s classic ballad, he catches unsuspecting young golfers and begins telling them about life, the men and women he has met, and the situations he has heard of. Surely life can’t be as ridiculous and hilarious as this man makes it to be? But then again, it sounds real! This collection of stories centered around a golf course remains one of Wodehouse’s most hilarious collections. About P. G.
