This book focuses on the evolution of content from my previous publications by the current publisher. The author was inspired to write this book by the remarkable occurrence in Tamil Nadu where Jagatguru Jayendra Sarvasti Swami, the divine Sri Shankaracharya of the Kanchipuram Mutt, was arrested for murder on November 4, 2004. The author, with interests spanning Economics, Statistics, Law, and Foreign Policy, found himself confronted with a new reality where Hindu spiritual leaders could be implicated in murder cases by a secular government, despite their Hindu background. The murder charge was bogus, and soon enough, the Supreme Court quashed the Chennai police charge-sheet, and set free the Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Mutt. The appalling and scandalous endeavor to implicate a revered spiritual leader of a lineage spanning at least 2500 years, coupled with the apparent indifference and disrespect towards the social fabric of Hindu religion and culture, inspired me to write easily comprehensible LOCAL_books on Hindu religion and culture. The respected pioneer in publishing LOCAL_books for the education of the people of India, and my friend for long, Shri Narendra Kumar was good enough to offer to publish such a book. Thus, my first book on Hindutva was published, titled Hindus Under Siege. It was widely welcome, and hence I wrote more LOCAL_books such as on Rama Setu, Ayodhya Ram Temple, etc. The present volume, Constitutional Framework for Hindu Rashtra and Bharatiya Identity, had been scheduled to be authored by me, but Narendra Kumar passed away. I am dedicate this book to his memory and sagacity
