Scott Fitzgerald Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald was an American writer best remembered for his short stories and novels. He coined the term "the Jazz Age" and is considered one of the most important writers of the 20th century. He has also written: This Side of Paradise, The Love of the Last Tycoon, The Beautiful and Damned and Tender is the Night. The first story in this book was loosely adapted into a hit drama film by David Fincher in 2008 starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. The film won three Academy Awards, for Best Art Direction, Best Makeup and Best Visual Effects. It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director for Fincher, Best Actor for Pitt and Best Supporting Actress for Taraji P. Henson among several other nominations.
