The Phantom never rests until he tastes blood. When John Wood, a man waiting for a transplant, finally finds a donor, things don’t go as planned. Plagued relentlessly by waking nightmares and visions, that swirl in a mixture of the past,present and future, John gets ripped from his life. As he nears the brink of sanity, ready to tumble in a vast chasm of insanity and chaos waiting, he encounters The Phantom. With the first clash, John gets completely annihilated. With only death the only disadvantage of meeting The Phantom again, he realizes something. He realizizes with horror, that there is a fate even worse than death.
