This book is based on the story of a young girl that lost everythingdear to her, especially her childhood and self-esteem. Later sheimmigrates to the United States by herself, acting mechanicallywhile her world is crumbling inside.Believing that experience was uniquely hers, she suddenly realizesthat many children were also leaving their land like her, leavingbehind their childhood dreams, growing up too fast.
