About Ankush Saikia Ankush Saikia was born in Assam. He grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, Assam and Shillong. He has previously worked for India Today, Sage Publications, and Dorling Kindersley. Ankush was shortlisted for the fourth Outlook/Picador-India Non-fiction Writing Award in 2005. He has also authored Jet City Woman and Spotting Veron and Other Stories. He currently lives in Shillong, Meghalaya and Tezpur, Assam.
