The book provides an important message to all the managers and explains the idea behind the Theory of Constraints developed by Eliyahu Goldratt. About Eliyahu Goldratt Eliyahu Goldratt was an educator, author, physicist, philosopher and a business leader. He was born in Israel into a rabbinic family. He went on to become a physicist and then a business management guru. He was the originator of the Theory of Constraints (TOC) and other TOC-derived tools. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Tel Aviv University and his Master’s degree and PhD from Bar-Ilan University. He has authored several books like The Race, The Haystack Syndrome and The Choice.
