William is a book dealer from Greenwich Village. Lydia is an agent for an otherworldly organization. Together they must match wits and do battle with sinister forces seeking to destroy ...The God List, an inventory of secret masterpieces created by geniuses the world over in celebration of the creative Spirit. It doesn't help that scholars disagree on the List's origins, or even if it exists at all.
