He also wrote short stories, some of which are The Pat Hobby Stories, Bernice Bobs Her Hair And Other Stories, All The Sad Young Men, and Tales Of The Jazz Age. Fitzgerald studied at Princeton University, and then joined the US Army. He later started working in Hollywood. The Great Gatsby gained popularity after the author’s death, who died thinking that his work was a failure. Fitzgerald is said to be one of the best American writers of the 20th century. He passed away in 1940 in Los Angeles, at the age of 44. In 2009, he was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame.
