The Great Indian Love Story is a book that is set in a world that cares only for appearances and has no time for love. Summary of the Book Serena lives in a world that does not have the time to care for love and affection of any sort. How can they when their lives consist of only Ferraris, diamonds, cocaine and ecstasy? Amidst the wild parties, sex and drugs, we meet Serena. Her life is all about getting high on substances and falling for the wrong men. Life has never been too good for her after her father’s death and her mother’s remarriage. As though life isn’t bad enough, she starts to have an affair with Amar Khanna, a trophy husband, coke addict and adulterer. Riya has returned to Delhi as she could not find a job in America.
