About Philippa Gregory Philippa Gregory is a British historical novelist. She was born in Kenya. She was previously associated with BBC radio. Philippa holds a doctorate in 18th-century literature and has taught at the University of Teesside and University of Durham among others. She was made a fellow of Kingston University in the year 1994. Some of her notable works are The Tudor series, the Wideacre trilogy, Perfectly Correct, and The Little House.
