As much as the government is working towards the conservation of India’s national animal, the tiger, we are still seeing a decline in the number of tigers in our land. This book is about the tigers of India which have been hunted for thousands of years now, and their struggle for survival. Summary of the Book In this book, the author discusses whether there is a possibility of a miracle that will come and save the tigers, or whether the government will act on time. It also discusses whether the major illegal trade of tiger skins, that has been rampant in Tibet, can be stopped. The book contains an addition of correspondence between the author and the Prime Minister’s office. There is an inclusion of a Note of Dissent to the report submitted by the Task Force which outlines the author’s plan of action to save the tigers and for their long-term survival.
