The Marrakesh Express is the continuing story of Cleopatra Sugarman, an Asian American, mixed race student at a private college. It is a love story, exploring cross cultural, cross generational relationships. Cleo learns about drugs, jazz, and the counterculture as she travels the country from Oregon, to Miami, to Atlanta and New York City. She meets a Hells Angel and explores the various aspects of alternative ways of living.
