Sam and Remi Fargo set off on their latest adventure, an epic hunt for The Mayan Secrets in this thriller by Clive Cussler and Thomas Perry. Summary of the Book The Fargos are in Mexico, and they make a startling discovery. They find the skeleton of a man holding onto an ancient sealed pot. Inside the pot is a Mayan book, one containing more secrets about the civilization than has ever been unearthed. However, the secrets inside are dangerous, for they detail much about the technology of the Mayans. The Fargos need to place the book in the right hands, before those who would abuse the knowledge find them, and kill them to get the book. About the Authors Clive Eric Cussler is an adventure novelist and marine archaeologist known for his thriller novels, most of which feature Dirk Pitt. He is also the founder and chairman of the National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA), which investigates the deep seas for shipwrecks. Thomas Perry is an American writer known for The Butcher’s Boy series. Perry won an Edgar Award in 1982 for Best First Novel. Series Reading Order This is the fifth book in the Fargo Adventures series. The Fargos embark on a hunt for climate-control technology, and find a perfectly preserved Viking ship in the Arctic ice in the next book, The Eye of Heaven.
