A Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Qatar and the Director of the Research Centre of Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) in Doha, Qatar, he is a recognized Islamic scholar and an advocate of the heterogeneous nature of Western Muslims.
