Dr Jay Sankar Basu, currently working as Associate Professor of ELT at Centre for Language, Translation and Cultural Studies, School of Humanities, NSOU, Ministry of Edn., Govt. Of West Bengal, India pens his poems in the name of ‘Jay Basu’. He is an award-winning poet. In his poems there is a palpable swing from the concrete everyday trivia to abstract mystic motifs. He is a published author.
