Following that, he earned his Doctoral degree from London School Of Economics, under the guidance of Amartya Sen. He currently holds the position of the Chief Economist, and Senior Vice President of the World Bank. Annemie Maertens is a renowned professor, currently working at the University Of Pittsburgh. Maertens holds a doctoral degree from Cornell University, studying Applied Economics And Management. Her main areas of research interest lie in empirical development economics, emphasizing behavioral, and social aspects of individual decision-making.
