The Ocean of Buddhist Wisdom Vol. 1, is an Anthology of the selected papers presented in English by the scholars in the first and second Annual Conferences of the Indian society for the Buddhist Studies at Nalanda and Jammu in Aug. 2001 and March 2003 respectively . The society provides a common academic platform to the researchers and teachers working on verious aspects of Buddhist studies and hence the varieties of articles in the present volume.
