The Old Man the Sea is short heroic novel written by Ernest Hemingway. It`s first published in 1952. It`s a story of Santiago, an aging fisherman, and his long struggle to catch a giant Martin, it was awarded the 1953 Pulitzer Prize for fiction. It was his last major work of fiction. This novel usage literature methods, which are intrinsic aspects comprises of setting, character, conflict and theme.
