In this book, the author reveals the truth and story behind the failure of Afghanistan and Pakistan in absorbing the Pashtuns in their state structures and incorporating them in their economic and political foundation, and how this is central to all of South Asia. Summary of the Book It is sometimes said that the instability between Pakistan and Afghanistan is either because of the Pashtun history and culture, or that they have hosts in Pashtun communities on both sides of the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. Abubakar Siddique is a Pashtun himself and the author of this book. In this book, he has made it clear to his readers that the religious extremism is the result of these failures, and that the elite of both countries are largely responsible for this. The book is a result of being an eyewitness to the events and extensive research. It describes the story of a community of people who will be able to shape the future of both Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the rest of the world too.
