It explains to us that the way we think in our subconscious mind is what makes us who we are. About Joseph Murphy Joseph Murphy was a naturalized American author. He was a New Thought minister who was into Divine Science and Religious Science. He was born in Ireland and raised as a Roman Catholic. He then studied priesthood and joined the Jesuits. He moved to Los Angeles in the mid-1940s and met the founder of Religious Science, Ernest Holmes. Upon meeting the president of the Divine Science Association, Erwin Gregg, he was led into the path of Divine Science, and became a minister at the Los Angeles Divine Science Church in 1949.
