This book exposes the reader to the world of visual art. Art is a byproduct of the artist’s talent, concepts, beliefs, and perception. It is the creator’s articulation of work based on knowledge, skill, experience, and passion. The images in this book are part of the author's abstract portfolio in different media. The auction features one artwork (refer to the book cover), which is the artist's rendition of the Australian terrain based on an aerial photograph taken by an astronaut. It is an honour for the author to share her visions and insights on art, with the hope to encourage, and maybe even inspire, aspiring visual artists to express their work freely, enjoying the journey of creativity. The care and love shown at the Windermere Aged Care Facility for its residents, as witnessed by the author, has influenced her to develop a storyline along the lines.
