Tariq Ramadan helps us understand the many truths that bind all of humanity together in a world that is dominated by different beliefs. Summary of the Book We all have different beliefs and have a certain way of thinking because of our belief system. However,while this may be true, there is also a way in which all humans relate together. This book explores some ideas like love, respect, truth and tolerance. It examines and explains questions regarding humanity to the readers. It tries to understand how men and women relate to each other and answers the question about the true nature of equality. The book will give us a new perspective of humanity and is an essential read for people of all faiths. It shows us how all the spiritual paths that we follow ultimately lead us to the human heart. About Tariq Ramadan Tariq Ramadan is a Swiss academic and writer. An Egyptian by origin, he is currently a Professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies in the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the Oriental Institute, St Antony's College, Oxford University. He is a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Qatar and the Director of the Research Centre of Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) in Doha, Qatar. Tariq is a recognized Islamic scholar and an advocate of the heterogeneous nature of Western Muslims. He has also written The Arab Awakening, Radical Reform: Islamic Ethics and Liberation and To Be a European Muslim.
