Most of us are so busy with our own lives that we forget to see what is happening around us. The Story That Must Not Be Told, leaves you thinking what have you done for the downtrodden, thus pricking pangs of guilt. Summary of the Book Simon Jesukumar is widower who has decided to do something worthwhile which will actually make a difference in someone else’s life. He had a happy married life and although she was a dominating woman, she was also like an iron hand which led him everywhere. Simon now wants to focus on the slum called Sitara next door. But only later does he realise that small acts of kindness or mercy will not help this section of humanity which has been ignored completely.
