Kuhn was a philosopher of science, historian, and physicist. His other writings include Black-Body Theory And The Quantum Discontinuity, 1894-1912, The Copernican Revolution: Planetary Astronomy In The Development Of Western Thought, The Function Of Dogma In Scientific Research, The Function Of Measurement In Modern Physical Science and The Road Since Structure. Born on the 18th of July, 1922, Thomas Samuel Kuhn was a physicist and is regarded as one of the most influential philosophers of science. Kuhn obtained his BS, MS and PhD degrees in Physics from Harvard University. He taught at Princeton University, the University of California, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1954, he was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1954 and a George Sarton Medal in 1982. He succumbed to lung cancer on the 17th of June, 1996.
