The sun also rises is a novel by Ernest Hemingway. It is regarded as his best work and one of the most influential modern American novels. The novel, set in France and Spain, tells the story of a group of American and British expatriates who travel from Paris to the Festival of San Fermín in Pamplona to watch the bullfighting. Hemingway explores their interactions with one another as well as their attitudes toward sex, morality, war, politics and religion.
