1904. Illustrated. From the introduction: The Child's Life of Christ, with its beautiful little illustrations, makes a very attractive volume. The experience of tens of thousands of mothers has proved that, even from earliest years, the heart of childhood is capable of being moved by that Sweet Story of Old, more powerfully and more blessedly than by any other. So far as I am able to judge, the Sacred Narrative of the Gospels is here repeated with a simplicity of style, and at the same time with a loving reverence, which seem to make it well suited for its intended purpose.
