The Tall Book of Riddles by Sheila Dhir is a joy filled collection of puzzles for children aged over seven years. It is a good exercise and activity book for the young and developing brains. The book has simple puzzles which gradually presents a bit more complex ones to make the children’s minds work faster. It also includes jokes, challenges and quips, all of which help in sharpening the wit of little kids and to make them come up with imaginative ways of deciphering the puzzles. About Sheila Dhir Sheila Dhir is a children’s book writer and also illustrator. She also creates various ad campaigns and designs brochures. She authored a book in Braille for the National Association for the Blind called Gandhi, which won her the honour of the 1984 Public Relations Society Award. Sheila is also the author of Why Are You Afraid to Hold My Hand? which sheds light upon how children with special needs have to be taken care of. Little Fingers, The Awesome Book of Riddles, The Book of Silly Jokes, Knock Knock jokes and Jot a Dot: A Journey into Writing and Drawing are some other books written and compiled by Sheila. Little Fingers have been translated into many Indian languages.
