It’s all for one and one for all in this timeless swashbuckling adventure from Alexandre Dumas. D’Artagnan journeys to Paris to join the ranks of the greatest heroes of the land. In doing so, he meets three rather strange comrades: The Three Musketeers! Summary of the Book D’Artagnan arrives at Paris with hopes of joining the King’s Musketeers. The Musketeers are tasked with protecting the King at all costs. However, his very first day turns into an inevitable nightmare as he manages to find himself duelling three rather strangely arrogant men. His opponents are the charming yet incorrigible Athos, Porthos and Aramis. What d’Artagnan has no way of discovering is that these three men are about to become his greatest friends and allies. They are none other than the noblest of the King’s Musketeers and they would die before seeing their lord fall to the plots of the nefarious Cardinal Richelieu and his guards. Yet, there is something the Musketeers need to learn: not all enemies are the kind who fight with a sword. Some of them have weapons that ordinary men cannot stand up against, and not all adversaries are men. About Alexandre Dumas Alexandre Dumas, pere, was a French writer.
