Miranda and Marko must work together to save their grandfather in The Traveller’s Tale, a Magic Mirror Mystery by Luther Tsai and Nury Vittachi. Summary of the Book Marko and Miranda’s grandfather has disappeared. Two strangers visit them at their house to deliver a letter from him. He asks them to find him a map he desperately needs to survive. The children travel back in time to the Taklamakan Desert in China through the Magic Mirror. It is the thirteenth century, and here they will encounter some fascinating historical figures, including Marco Polo and Dorji, the heir of Kubla Khan. However, time doesn’t stop and they need to find the map soon or risk losing their grandfather forever. About the Authors Luther Tsai and Nury Vittachi are writers who have also collaborated on the other novels in the series. Tsai is an architect, academic and urban planner. Vittachi is a Sri Lankan born journalist and writer based in Hong Kong. He has also written The Feng Shui Detective series of comedy-crime novels.
