The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a fantasy novel by C. S. Lewis. It is the fifth novel in the Chronicles of Narnia series. Summary of the Book When Lucy, Edmund and their troublesome cousin Eustace get sucked into a magical painting of a ship at sea, they return to the magical land of Narnia. The ship is the Dawn Treader, captained by Caspian, the King of Narnia. Caspian and his crewmembers are searching for the seven lost lords of Narnia, and their quest will take them to the edge of the world. Together with Reepicheep, the brave warrior mouse, and other able companions, Lucy, Edmund and Caspian set out on their adventures. However, Eustace refuses to believe that Narnia is a real place. After all, he’d spent the summer telling Lucy and Edmund that they were liars. Yet, how long can he go on ignoring the truth that is right before his eyes? About C. S. He was also a close friend of J. R. R. Tolkien.
