Entrancing' gothic mysteryJustin Blake receives an invitation from his old schoolmate Tom Temple to join him for the Christmas holidays in Yorkshire, which he accepts. Though he is customarily not quite a ladies' man, he falls instantly in love with Miss Forrest, one of the guests, who he has already met on the train journey.
