Returning to Mid-World, Stephen King's newest installment to the Dark Tower fantasy series, The Wind Through The Keyhole, continues with Roland's journey with his ka-tet to the the Outer Baronies. A standalone novel, it will entice newer readers to the series and drag back loyal fans to the world of the gunslinger. Summary of the Book Roland's journey to the Dark Tower is laid bare once again, this time told from the perspective of both his younger and older selves. Mid-World's last gunslinger, his journey has been one fraught with peril after peril. With his ka-tet in tow, Roland's journey towards the Outer Baronies is halted by a storm. The events make Roland Deschain recall his younger years as a gunslinger, reeling from his mother's death. When his father sent him to investigate a mysterious shape-shifting murderer, Roland comes across a young boy named Bill Streater. In order to calm Bill down, Roland tells him a story that his mother used to tell him from the Book of Eld: The Wind Through The Keyhole. About Stephen King Stephen King is an American horror-fiction writer. His books Carrie, Cujo and the Dark Tower Series have rocketed him to fame and fortune. He has also written under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. King graduated from the University of Maine, where he met and married his wife Tabitha King. He lives in Bangor, Maine.
