Frank Baum’s classic fantasy novel. Summary of the Book After discovering that they aren’t in Kansas anymore, Dorothy and Toto begin to panic. The nasty tornado ripped their house apart at the foundation and transported them to a strange new land. To make matters worse, the house landed on an evil witch: the Wicked Witch of the East! Now the witch’s sister, the Wicked Witch of the West, vows to take her revenge on Dorothy for freeing the munchkins from her sister’s grasp. Guided by the Good Witch of the North, Dorothy and Toto follow the Yellow Brick Road in an attempt to return home. However, on the way, they encounter three strange creatures: a scarecrow who wants a brain, a tinman who wants a heart and a cowardly lion who wants to become brave. What each of them seeks is dear to them, and they can only hope that at the end of the Yellow Brick Road, they will find them, with the help of the great and powerful Wizard of Oz. About L.
