We bring you this unique bespoke collection of hand-made authentic olive wood spice jars, chess boards, carved bowls, spoons, coasters, ladles, trays and more. These are hand carved from durable, sustainably sourced olive wood from 300-400 year old olive trees that are no longer productive. The wood is harvested from the olive groves on the Southern Mediterranean coast of Tunisia. Each item in this collection is different from the other and so, these are exclusive and one of a kind as the grain and finish of each item depends on the tree, the aspect in relation to the sea, the moisture levels, the light and other such factors. Each item is polished with olive oil and can be further polished every few years and being of very strong and hard wood, can essentially last forever. The rich grain and texture of this olive wood item is unique.
