Thomas Calculus 11th Edition is a book that aims to help its readers master their calculus skills in order for them to excel in the calculus courses that they choose. Summary Of The Book Thomas Calculus is a book that focuses on the concepts of calculus, and helps to equip the readers to excel in it, in their respective courses. An important fact is highlighted here, which is that even though school students are aware of the basics of calculus, they are usually unable to excel in it when they choose it in their courses later on. The authors point out that this defect is mostly due to the fact that the students lack a good grounding in the concepts of trigonometry, and algebra as well. The book is inclusive of extensive exercises, and illustrations that are helpful in understanding the concepts relatively easier. The table of contents of this book is also well made, and groups all the topics into neat sections. This is highly useful for instructors even when they draft out their teaching plans. Differentiation, Integration, Multiple Integrals, Transcendental Functions, Infinite, and Series are some of topics that have been covered in this book. All in all, this book is a must-have for students as well as lecturers, who want to gain a solid understanding of calculus. About The Authors The author of this book, Maurice D.
