Tom Gates: Excellent Excuses and Other Good Stuff is a children’s book by L. Pichon. Summary of the Book Tom Gates is happier than ever! There’s no school for two weeks, could there be anything more awesome? He can forget about the boring lessons and annoying things like Marcus Meldrew. He’s planning ways to have fun, like annoying his sister Delia in so many new ways. However, Tom needs to go to the dentist, and that can’t be a good thing. Delia also seems to have something planned, and knowing her, she’ll definitely spoil his plans. About L. Pichon Liz Pichon has worked as an art director in Jive Records, the music label company. She is currently a freelance illustrator and children’s book writer. Liz studied at the Camberwell School of Art in London, graduating in graphic design.
