Tom Gates is back in school in Tom Gates: Everything’s Amazing (Sort Of), a kids’ book by L. Pichon. Summary of the Book Getting back to school should be easier said than done. To Tom Gates, there’s nothing harder. He is optimistic, and there are some fun things to look forward to. His birthday is coming up, and so are the sports day and the school fair. And to make things better, his annoying sister Delia won’t be there to get on his nerves. However, Granny Mavis says she’s going to make his birthday cake, and that’ll definitely be a disaster. At least there’s the fact that Mr. Keen is going to let the Dogzombies perform in front of the whole school, and maybe play at the school disco. This term is going to be simply amazing, sort of. About L. Pichon Liz Pichon has worked as an art director in Jive Records, the music label company. She is currently a freelance illustrator and children’s book writer. Liz studied at the Camberwell School of Art in London, graduating in graphic design. Besides the Tom Gates series, she has also written The Three Horrid Pigs and the Big Friendly Wolf, Penguins and Bored Bill. Series Reading Order This is the third book in the series.
