This book Training and Development written by Dr. Bharti Venkatesh is an intervention for the students employees, trainers facilitators and the organization to equip themselves with the content. structure and processes of training in the process of creating a learning and development oriented organization. The structure of the book is such that as the questions and the concerns emerge in the mind of the HR of the organization. The chapters and the pages seem to answer the questions and unfolds the response to the needs of training in the organization. The chapters sequentially deal with the training requirements of the organization. This book is written with care and concern for both the people of the organization and the organization. About the Author Dr. (Mrs.) Bharti Venkatesh is Professor and HOD (Human Resource) of VNS Institute of Management in VNS Group of Educational Institutions, Bhopal. She is also an approved Research Guide in Faculty of Management with Barkatullah University, Bhopal. She is a former faculty of Management at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal; faculty of Psychology in, CU. Shah Art's College, Ahmedabad; faculty of psychology at Nursing College in Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Ahmedabad. She has also been an Examiner for the subject of Psychology, in Gujarat University for quite some time. Before she was awarded Post Doctoral degree in Organisational Behaviour (OS) from FLAME. Pune, she was as a Post Doctoral Research Scholar of Organizational Behaviour, at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad for 5 years with the then Dean of UM Ahmedabad, Prof. Indira J Parikh.
