This book has been compiled with a view to familiarise construction techniques for Airports, Docks and Harbours, Inland Waterways, Ropeways, Pipe Line Transportation and Bridges. Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Survey have also been included and Codes of Practice as recommended by I.S.I. and I.R.C. have been followed.
