In its totality, the book indeed is an epic of travel with highlights of places and peoplesof South America. Richly illustrated with the author’s photos, it could also be a coffee table bookwith vivid color images. The book harks back to travel over 50 years to Latin America and Curran’sclasses teaching about it.
