The book attempts to take into account a study of the social, economic, political, cultural and marital status of tribal women in central India and attempt to answer the multifarious facts and the abstacles that come in the way of their empowerment. These are some of the pertinent issues and question which have been discussed. The book is of both academic and social imporatnce.
