Twins at St. Clare’s is the first book in Enid Blyton’s St. Clare’s series of children’s books. Summary of the Book 14 year old Pat and Isabel O’Sullivan join St. Clare’s, expecting it to be boring. They aren’t happy with being sent away to a boarding school, especially when their friends are being sent to Redroofs. They arrive, determined to not mix with the other girls. They resent having to wait on the older girls, as is the custom at St. Clare’s, and they are named “The Stuck-Up Twins”. However, they soon begin to realize that St. Clare’s is going to be their new home, and they’re going to make a couple of friends for life. About Enid Blyton Enid Mary Blyton was an English children’s writer. She is remembered for her Famous Five, Secret Seven and Noddy series of books.
