In The Hardy Boys – Typhoon Island, there is all the probability of a fantastic vacation becoming a fight for life. Summary of the Book Visiting San Esteban is supposed to be a vacation for Frank and Joe Hardy and their friends, but it takes only a while for them to realize that the island they have visited is no paradise. Some of the local residents aren't friendly to tourists, and the island itself is crowded with dangerous wild animals - some of which even take up dwelling in the Hardy Boys' bungalow. As though this isn't enough to be troubled about, someone starts following every step of the Hardy Boys. Is this person the reason for most of the "bad luck" the boys have had? On the other hand, not even the worst rogue, though, could assemble the typhoon that turns San Esteban into a death trap. Can the Hardy Boys solve the mystery of Typhoon Island before any danger harms them? About Franklin W. Dixon Franklin W. Dixon is the pseudonym of several writers, all of them ghostwriting The Hardy Boys series of stories. The name was first used by a Canadian writer called Leslie McFarlane. The rights to the name and the books are owned by Simon & Schuster, a publishing house based in New York.
