his book gives the historical background and characteristic features of the Unconventional Manufacturing Processes now available such as abrasive jet machining, ultrasonic machining, chemical machining, electrochemical grinding, electrochemical machining, electron beam machining, plasma arc machining, basic principles of each process, equipment’s required, process parameters with applications are highlighted. Both Unconventional Machining Processes and Unconventional Forming and Joining Processes are included. Thus this text will provide knowledge about utility of unconventional processes to engineers, designers, students, academia and manufacturers interested. About The Author Dr. M.K. Singh is presently working with Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Farah, Mathura, as Professor and Head, Mechanical Engg. He has obtained his B.Tech. degree from B.I.T. Sindri (Jharkhand) in 1987 and Master of Science (Engg.) in 1995 from same Institute. He did his Ph.D. from B.I.T. Sindri (V.B. University, Hazaribagh) in 2002. He has been selected for S.E.R.C. Visiting Fellowship in 1999 by Deptt. of Science & Technology, New Delhi. He has 20 years of teaching and industrial experience. His field of interest is production and optimization techniques.
