In this book, my dad John, humbly shares a glimpseinto his spiritual evolution. His story consists of manymaterial highs and lows, culminating in his rootsgrowing ever stronger in spiritual understandingand God consciousness. His lifetime has consistedof great prosperity in his career through hard workand following his heart. He has also encounteredmany difficulties including the death of his daughter(my sister), and only a couple years later, the deathof his wife (my mom). With loss we reach a fork inthe road. Will this material suffering lead us to greatlamentation, the seeking of sense enjoyment asdistraction, or the ultimate path of transcendentalunderstanding? With his spiritual strength, dad hascontinually chosen the path of loving servitude aidedby deepening his connection to his true soul and itssource. I attribute my spiritual path to my father’sinfluence and hope his story and spiritual maxims inthis book can do the same for the reader.
