"Utkarsh Egg Plant Borer is intended for use as an attractant of Eggplant fruit and shoot borer (Leucinodes Orbonalis) in Brinjal/eggplant Farms, in order to trap them for monitoring and mass trapping. Product Description: The Active Ingredient blend of E-11-hexadecenyl acetate & E-11-hexadecenol is a potent attractant for males of Leucinodes Orbonalis. This liquid formulation @ 3 mg is loaded in rubber septa, which is placed in water/PheroGlo/Funnel sleeve traps in the field. Storage and Disposal precautions: Store the dispenser away from sunlight in a dry and cool place. Do not open the pouch until just before placing it in the trap lure holder. The product expiry date is 2 years from the production date under good storage conditions and without opening the sealed pouch. Packing: Utkarsh Egg Plant Borer lure is packed in a metalized triple-layer pouch. Funnel trap, as the name suggests, is a funnel, covered at the top by a canopy that holds the pheromone dispenser basket, with radial openings all around for entry of the moths. A transparent plastic bag is attached to the lower end of the funnel which should be cleaned and replaced occasionally, depending on the insect catch rate."
