Arrowroot powder is the dried root of a tropical plant .As a thinkener,I baking cookies and various types of dough, it can be used for soups and sauces and puddings.It has a no flavourof its own and is the easiest starch to digest.Arrow root powder is the best used at the end of your cooking just before boiling ,as continued heating will cause it to lose its thinkening ability.It is also an excellent ingredient for glutan free baking or breading.
