Vernon (Vernon, Horace Middleton, 1870-) Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford. In the following few years he spent various periods doing biological research at Naples, and also during that time he did his clinical studies at St. George’s Hospital and Qualified in medicine. In 1898 he was elected a Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford, and he became University Lecturer in Chemical Physiology. For the next twenty years he continued with teaching and research in physiology.
